3 New Church Plants on 1 Day!

The pastor of Landsborough Adventist church (on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia) launched three new church plants on one day. With over-crowding in the parent church it was agreed that a group from the 40 members living around Maleny (20 km west) would hive off to form the core team of a new plant. Arrangements were made to hire rooms at a local high school for Saturday morning worship services. At the same time the pastor, Mike Brownhill was busy conducting evangelistic meetings in two other towns, Woodford and Kilcoy. He was preaching eight times a week (including Saturday mornings) – and there was a good interest in Bible study. With committed members also living in Woodford and Kilcoy, Mike decided to start new worship services in both towns.
