RE:VIVE at the Carnival

"Last year we had a stall at the carnival in Grantham (England) and this year we did it again," says Fiona Selvage. This year the re:vive planting team painted jungle animals onto kid's faces for their next set of programs for re:vive kids is following this theme. “We now have about 18 children from the community coming along to re:vive kids once a fortnight,” reports Fiona.  “They have this on the top floor of the Scout Hall where we meet and it sounds like they have a lot of fun up there."

Hi. It seems a great idea as far as I can understand it. Could you please explain some more about what do you do in the program. This last month God has brought about 70 kids in one area called Fushe- Mezes, where we are having a church-plant and I really want to prepare something special for them, now for Xmas. MAybe you could help a lot. Thanks, Ermira from Albania.
PS We also would need lots of prayer. God bless!

Hello Ermira. I can see you with all those kids in Fushe-Mezes – and almost hear the noise and feel the excitement!

Hi. I would like to share our vision (by Anna Syvesalmi, Finland)of starting a Soup Kitchen for 30 old people in KAmez, Tirana, Albania. This is a new suburban area we are trying to plant a new church and understand which needs of this society we could fulfill by God’s guidance.Again, as in HIs works of old God showed us that He can see a lot before things start to happen. We discovered (through the authorities in the municipality and the director of the house itself)that there was already a home for old people in this are, who almost two years ago had had lunch provided by the goverment, but then the funding was cut off. So now the place only serves as a day centre, offering only a cup of tea and 1 of coffee for each. we were wondering how would we find the people and where to find the place and what about the prices for the equipments.Could it be anything other than God’s provision and guidance that everything is ready for more than two years and that it’s simply waiting for us to go!Praise be the Lord for this priviledge.

Ermira, this is a wonderful example of watching for the waves of God’s Spirit – and then catching those waves! Share a little more on this Ermira – and we could post it so that other bloggers can pick up on it. I am always inspired by how God uses you. Peter.
