Have met with the core 4 of BoS – which is an acronym (in Dutch) for ‘Bible on your Lap’. They were all members and involved as leaders at a nearby Adventist church – and had for about a year become more involved in sharing faith with young people who were disconnecting from church. They did online training around the concepts of simple church and launched 12 months ago. As well as engaging with broken people in their communities, the core 4 meet on Friday evenings to pray and plan, and then simple church gathers on Saturdays – 10.30 for hot drinks and conversation, followed by a Bible focus, kids Discovery, and a midday meal.
