1870s 1 new church was planted each year for every 2 ordained pastors
1880s 1 new church each year for every 5 or 6 ordained pastors
1890s 1 new church each year for every 4 ordained pastors

To calculate what a movement could look like today in your State or region, simply find out the number of pastors and divide by 2 for the 1870s equivalent, 5 or 6 for the 1880s, and 4 for the 1990s equivalent.

50 pastors = 25 new churches each year (at the 1870s rate)!
100 pastors = 50 new churches each year (at the 1870s rate)!
